Overview

Performs a wide variety of administrative duties in support of the Group Insurance Trust area in conformance with Bank policies and procedures. 

Acts as System Administrator and primary application specialist for all Group Insurance Trust third party applications (i.e. your dept. software.)  Responsible for the user access controls, security, maintenance, updates and disaster recovery of said applications. Acts as primary vendor liaison responsible for maintaining vendor relationship, contracts, contact information and keeping up-to-date on vendor initiatives.

Performs any functions necessary, within scope of authority and expertise, to provide the highest level of service and responsiveness to customers.

 Perform administrative duties within the department including the opening and closing of accounts, account and policy maintenance, billing and collection of trust fees, monitoring the rating of insurance companies.

Responsible for the administration and client relationship of group insurance trusts.   Maintain the group insurance trust database and prepare various reports as needed for the manager of the area.

Perform related and unrelated duties as may be required.

Requirements

Two to three years of experience in administrative role; paralegal courses and/or experience a plus.  Excellent attention to detail, a self starter with strong written, communication, and interpersonal skills is a must.  Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, particlarly in Access required.
