BankNewport Names Vice President

Sheila A. Hagen-Peters

NEWPORT, R.I. (July 16, 2007) - BankNewport President and CEO, Thomas W. Kelly, recently announced the appointment of Sheila A. Hagen-Peters to vice president and branch manager of the Bank’s Wellington Square office in Newport. Hagen-Peters began her career at BankNewport in 1984 and has held various positions, most recently serving as assistant vice president and manager at the same branch location. She is responsible for branch operations, business development and staff development. Hagen-Peters holds a Rhode Island Insurance Producers License and is a Registered ParaplannerSM. She is a member of the board of directors of All Saints Academy in Middletown, where she serves on the finance committee, a member of the Newport County Chamber of Commerce, and a trustee of Long Wharf and Public Schools, where she also serves on the finance committee.
