BankNewport Names Branch Manager

Victoria Comfort

NEWPORT, R.I. (May 2, 2008) - BankNewport President and CEO, Thomas W. Kelly, recently announced the appointment of Victoria A. Comfort to assistant vice president and branch manager of the Bank’s new Narragansett office located at 90 Point Judith Road. She will be responsible for branch operations, business development and staff development. Victoria comes to BankNewport from Citizens Bank where she served as branch manager of their Narragansett office. She is a member of the board of directors of the Narragansett Chamber of Commerce. Victoria and her two children reside in Wakefield, Rhode Island.
