Linda A. Buchanan

NEWPORT, R.I. (August 8, 2007) - BankNewport President and CEO, Thomas W. Kelly, recently announced the appointment of Linda A. Buchanan to vice president and branch manager of the Bank’s Stone Bridge office in Tiverton. Buchanan began her career at BankNewport in 2001 and has held various positions, most recently serving as assistant vice president and manager at the same branch location. She is responsible for branch operations, business development and staff development. Buchanan holds a Rhode Island Insurance Producers License. She is a member of the Fall River Chamber of Commerce and a member of the Newport County Chamber of Commerce. Linda resides in Fall River, Massachusetts.
