BankNewport Announces Appointment

NEWPORT, R.I. (October 13, 2009) - BankNewport President and CEO, Thomas W. Kelly, recently announced the appointment of Jennifer C. Pratt to assistant vice president and branch manager of the Bank’s Washington Square office in Newport. She will be responsible for branch operations, business development and staff development. Pratt comes to BankNewport from Citizens Bank where she served as manager of their Portsmouth office as well as the Newport supermarket branch location. Pratt earned a Bachelor of Arts in business management from the University of Rhode Island in Kingston. She is a member of the school board at All Saints Academy in Middletown and a member of the Newport County Chamber of Commerce. Jennifer and her husband, Andy, have two children and reside in Middletown, Rhode Island.
