EMPLOYEES DRESS CASUAL FOR HURRICANE RELIEF

NEWPORT, R.I. (December 22, 2017) – Employees of BankNewport and OceanPoint Insurance recently presented donations to the American Red Cross and the Salvation Army in support of the tireless efforts of both agencies to provide vital relief services to the people and communities devastated by the series of hurricanes this fall.

Employees collected personal donations for the opportunity to dress casual in support of hurricane relief, with funds matched by BankNewport management and board of directors, for a total of $5,924 to the American Red Cross and $2,500 to the Salvation Army.

The organization has continued their effects in providing relief to first responders and survivors of natural disasters, accidents and other situations.
