BankNewport Appoints Michael Vanasse Vice President, Manager of South Angell Branch in Providence

NEWPORT, RI (June 13, 2024) – BankNewport is pleased to announce that Michael Vanasse has been named vice president and branch manager of the Bank’s Providence office located at 5 South Angell Street.
In his new role, Vanasse will be responsible for branch operations, customer experience, and team development. His leadership and financial expertise will be instrumental in continuing the strong branch performance and in fostering community relationships.
Prior to joining BankNewport, Vanasse held branch manager positions with Citizens Bank in North Kingstown and formerly with Santander in Warwick, RI.
Michael is a resident of Warwick, Rhode Island.
