BankNewport Names Jessica L. Couto Vice President, Portsmouth Branch Manager

NEWPORT, R.I. – (July 23, 2025) – BankNewport is pleased to announce that Jessica L. Couto has been appointed vice president, branch manager of the Bank’s Portsmouth location at 2628 East Main Road. She will be responsible for branch operations, customer experience and team development.
Couto joined BankNewport in 2015, most recently serving as vice president, manager of the Bank’s Warwick branch. She formerly served as sales manager of the Bank’s Tiverton and Middletown branches.
Active in her community, Jessica serves on the board of the Portsmouth Business Association. She is also a member of MentorRI and a member of the SouthCoast Chamber of Commerce.
Jessica is a resident of Portsmouth, Rhode Island.
