BankNewport Expands Providence County and Northern Rhode Island Footprint with New Branch in Lincoln

NEWPORT, R.I.  (September 20, 2023) – BankNewport  is pleased to announce that it has opened its first location in Lincoln, at 1 Wake Robin Road, the bank’s 19th branch in Rhode Island. A ribbon-cutting ceremony with Town Administrator Phillip Gould, the Northern Rhode Island Chamber of Commerce’s President & CEO Liz Catucci, and BankNewport representatives including President & CEO Jack Murphy and Chairman of the Board Peter Capodilupo was held on Thursday, September 14th to commemorate the opening.

The new 2,500 square-foot full-service branch, which opened to customers on September 5th, features the latest banking technologies for customer convenience, including an image-enabled Personal Teller Machine (PTM) providing extended hours for banker support.

Lincoln Branch Manager Carlos Cabral is joined by a team of five Relationship Bankers, as well as a designated Mortgage Banker, Business Banker, Premier Banker and an OceanPoint Investment Solutions Financial Advisor, who can assist customers with all banking transactions, as well as consumer loan originations, residential mortgages, commercial lending, business banking needs, cash management, merchant services, investment planning, online banking and mobile banking services in a modern yet familiarly welcoming environment.
