BankNewport Promotes Robert Cribari to Vice President, Operations Manager for Deposit Servicing

NEWPORT, R.I. (October 26, 2020) – BankNewport is pleased to announce that Cranston resident Robert Cribari has been promoted to Vice President and Operations Manager for Deposit Servicing. In his position, Cribari is responsible for the daily operations of all loan servicing functions, as well as the oversight and control of the daily functions for BankNewport’s Deposit Operations group. Previously, he was a Loan Servicing Operations Manager at the Bank.

“We are pleased to announce Robert’s promotion to Vice President,” said John Sullivan, BankNewport Executive Vice President, Digital and Technology Strategy. “He has an extraordinary amount of experience across functions within the industry and has made a great impact on the organization during his short tenure at BankNewport.”

Prior to joining BankNewport in 2018, Cribari was Senior Vice President-Regional Operations at Citizens Bank, responsible for the direct workflow and management of the Rhode Island Mortgage Operation Center. In his more than 30 years in banking, he has also served in various capacities in the industry, including Loan Operations at Sovereign Bank, Bank of America and Peoples’ Credit Union, and the former Fleet Mortgage.
