Messages of Love and Support: BankNewport’s “Heartwarming” Sponsorship Spreads Joy at Garden City Center

02.14.24

Visitors can write and send postcards of kindness either to loved ones and community members in need

NEWPORT, R.I. (February 14, 2024) – This February, the power of kind words takes a tangible form at Garden City Center in Cranston, RI. Sponsored by BankNewport, the “Heartwarming” event and art installation encourages community members to express their affection and positive thoughts through handwritten postcards. For more information, please visit: https://gardencitycenter.com/event/heartwarming/.

Now through February 29th, visitors can engage in the sweet activity by stopping by the life-size conversation heart installation located near Anthropologie. Here, they can pick up a postcard, write a heartfelt message to someone special, and leave the rest to BankNewport – who will ensure the delivery of these warm sentiments. Those who wish to spread kindness without a specific recipient in mind can also participate; such messages will be sent to local community members in need of a smile.

BankNewport’s commitment to fostering community spirit is embodied by its own employees, who have eagerly participated in the initiative.
